Stayed in a lakeside house on Pine Mountain Lake this past weekend, the particular property known as "Cottage on the Lake". I really wish we had stayed a whole week instead of 3 nights because we had such a great time! The lake was beautiful and so was the house. Great views and great fishing. Rented a boat from the marina for a very reasonable price and caught a mess of trout and the largest bass of my life (9 lbs, 3oz)! My teenage daughter and her friends had a great time sunning and swimming.
Everything was exactly as promised in ad description. Dealt with Shirley in the office for reservation etc., she is courteous, helpful, and prompt- excellent customer service! Honestly I never hesitate to complain but I simply have no complaints about YRR, or the house they rented us. I think we'll be back next year.
By the way, I noticed someone in an earlier review complaining about the cost of the optional linen service. The service is optional so simply bring your own towells, blankets, etc. if you want to avoid this fee- duhhhh!
We have used Yosemite Region Resorts several times for vacation rentals at Pine Mountain Lake. The homes were well cared for, safe and in good condition. The YRR staff is professional and always available even after normal business hours in case of emergency. Our rental properties were clean and ready for us to settle in and keys were left at the appropriate place and time as promised for our arrival. We are returning again this summer and plan to use YRR for our rental accomodations at PML. We love YRR AND GROVELAND ! :)
You wont be disappointed! I take my wife and son to Yosemite every spring/summer. We had never stayed in Groveland/Pine Lake and thought we would try something new. Well, that was the BEST decision we have ever made! We rented "Camp Wyckoff" from YRR and all I can say is WOW! The cabin was perfect! I dont think it could be any cleaner than it was. And it had EVERYTHING one could need. Big TV, Surround sound, Cable, WIFI, FULL kitchen with everything you could need. Awesome bathroom, large patio, garage, fans in every room. I could go on and on and on...
Ive rented cabins all over the Yosemite area and nothing beats YRR's rentals! TRUST ME! Im picky too! I like nice things! Where else can you get a house sized cabin for less than what a typical hotel room cost? You cant!
This is the place to rent from people. It really is! I worked with Tara and she was very nice. Not pushy at all. And had everything perfect for us when we came in to pick up the keys. I walked in and right back out in less than 30 seconds. Then when we opened the door to our cabin, we found a REALLY nice goody bag of all kinds of things in case you forgot anything. It had a ton of stuff and the bag was nice too. (Thanks YRR!) We have rented a lot of cabins in the Yosemite area and none of them (even ones inside the park) compare. It was that nice that I felt compelled to sign on with Yelp JUST to write this review. Thanks YRR!
